Chris is a native of Northwest Ohio, graduating from Toledo St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy in Toledo, Ohio and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Chris has been specializing in the insurance and investment business since 1991. 

From 1991 through 1996 Chris gained experience in the insurance and investments field as an agent with New England Financial at the Toledo Agency of Coulacos/Brennan & Associates.   Later in 1996 Chris left New England to become an independent registered representative.  

In addition to the training in Toledo and at the home office in Boston during his time with New England Financial, Chris gained additional professional experience through a Goldman Sachs investment seminar awarded for outstanding sales in 1998. In 2002, Chris complemented his professional studies receiving the advanced designation of Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Chris has remained active in Northwest Ohio communities throughout his career. In 2000, he was a recipient of The Top Twenty Under Forty Leadership Award, an annual Leadership Awards Recognition Program sponsored by the Toledo Business Journal to recognize the commitment of 20 oustanding young community leaders.

Chris resides in Northwest Ohio and Naples, Florida. 

He enjoys spending time with his wife Karen Kelley, and his two daughters currently attending Miami of Ohio and Virginia Tech.  

He remains active playing golf, tennis, snow skiing in Colorado, and welcomes most any water activity.  Chris was also fortunate to win the Squash Club Championship at the Historic Downtown Toledo Club three times, and the Golf Club Championship at Toledo County Club in Northwest Ohio.
